Unfussy, relaxed style.

Definitely a hotel for younger people. Front desk staff spending so much time being 'Cool' they sometimes forget what good service is really about. Room design treads a fine line between being trendy and a 1960's motel - fine if quality of fittings was better.

The food for dinner and breakfast was top-notch! 🍴 the staff here were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond to help us out. Additionally, the facilities were in great shape and really added to the overall experience.

Retro funky design and layout - something different. Very geared towards the younger generation, great party atmosphere.

The best part about the Standard is the location if you want to be near WeHo/Boys town , the Hollywood Hills and Robertson Boulevard. Great place for people watching. The rooms were pretty cool too. Stayed in an Extra Large but really didn't need to as it was so big and didn't have that much in it. Should have gone for a smaller room.

The staff seemed pretty unhappy. Very unlike American service that I have experienced elsewhere. The smiles were fake and everything was a bit too much trouble for them - and all we ever asked for was a drink or a breakfast in the restaurant. Its a shame but I wouldn't stay there again because of the staff. The rest of the hotel was great.

This place is spotless, offers a great selection of delicious meals, and is conveniently located near nightclubs and a Starbucks.

Favourable position along with outstandingly accommodating staff are the reasons we truly enjoyed this vibrant hotel.

The staff resolved issues quickly.

I didn't like how loud the hotel was. I'm all about having a good time but people staying up until 6 in the morning and waking up to puke from the guests upstairs on our balcony was disappointing. Two of our 4 people party caught food poisoning from the cafe downstairs.

The location was great and absolutely perfect, near the poolside bar/restaurant. It's in a really quiet area. - I could reach Plummer Park with a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

Its design was very modern and posh, and its location is perfect for tourists.

I think the rates are a bit overrated. And late at night the neighborhood is swamped with drunks.

there's a great vibe about this hotel. and the best part is, if you find yourself in hollywood and not sure where to go, you can pretty much party in the lobby! also, mini bar items are super cool and fun.

not enough space to hang clothes! the mini bar location is cool but not practical.

The rooms are spacious and equipped with central heating, an individual safe, and pay TV. the location is fantastic, being close to a Starbucks and several restaurants in a great area. You can't go wrong staying in the West Hollywood district.

Relaxed atmosphere with lots of young people. Friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient for any tourist attraction in the area of Hollywood, safe place to be.

Rather pricey for what it is. I can only imagine that it can ask the prices based on where it is.
